Rolex 2025 Releases: The Land-Dweller and More Exciting Updates

Rolex has unveiled its 2025 lineup, introducing the highly anticipated (and possibly the biggest luxury watch news of 2025) Land-Dweller and refreshing the dial options across multiple models.
For watch enthusiasts and collectors, this year's releases offer a mix of innovation and aesthetic refinements.

Here’s a breakdown of what’s new in Rolex’s 2025 collection:

The Rolex Land-Dweller: A Game-Changer

The biggest news from Rolex in 2025 is the introduction of the Land-Dweller, a brand-new model that features:

  • High-beat Caliber 7135 movement with the revolutionary Dynapulse escapement for enhanced efficiency. Thinner than the majority of the brand’s movements.

  • Integrated bracelet with a concealed clasp. Its links have a distinctive flat surface: a unique feature among the metal bracelets.

  • Exhibition caseback, a rare feature for Rolex.

  • Laser-etched dial with an "XL fluted motif" design: a honeycomb motif developed using a high-technology laser.

  • Available sizes: 36mm and 40mm.

  • Starting price: 15'450€.

This model is poised to be a collector’s favorite, already spotted on the wrist of Roger Federer.

Rolex GMT Master II Updates

  • White Gold Sprite GMT (Ref. 126729VTNR-0001): Now features Rolex’s first-ever green ceramic dial, perfectly matching its green ceramic bezel.
This new GMT was again released also in his "Destro" or "Lefty" version.
    Price:
    48'450.

  • Gold GMT with Tiger Iron Dial (Ref. 126715CHNR & 126718GRNR): Solid rose gold and yellow gold models now sport a striking tiger iron stone dial: this semi-precious gemstone is a metamorphic rock that is composed of tiger’s eye, red jasper, and silver hematite. The combination of three distinct minerals forms a unique linear pattern across its surface, reminiscent of tiger’s eye, but with golden-orange hues and vibrant red streaks that create a more dynamic and visually striking appearance compared to the uniform tones of tiger’s eye.
Prices: 51'250 (rose gold), 49'250 (yellow gold).

  • Green dial available again for the yellow gold bracelet Daytona.

  • Blue dial with red accents added to the white gold bracelet version.

  • Chocolate dials reintroduced for Everose gold Daytonas.

  • Turquoise dial exclusively for the 126518LN (yellow gold Daytona on Oysterflex), expected to be a fan favorite.

Other Notable Rolex 2025 Releases

  • Yellow Gold Sky-Dweller: Now available with a sunburst green dial across all bracelet options (Jubilee, Oyster, Oysterflex). A fixed inverted red triangle on the dial points to the chosen reference time – the time at home or at the traveller’s usual workplace – on the off-centre 24-hour disc.

  • Rose Gold Day-Date 36: Introduces an olive green Roman numeral dial, inspired by the popular Day-Date 40. The sunray finish creates delicate light reflections on many dials in the Oyster Perpetual collection.

  • Datejust 31 Red Ombre Dial: Celebrating the Datejust’s 80th anniversary with a striking red ombre PVD-coated dial and a President bracelet. The ombré dial features a coloured surface at the centre, progresses to a deep black around the edge. This dial represents the continuity of a design that Rolex introduced in the 1980s and relaunched in 2019.

  • Yellow Gold Rolex 1908 on Settimo Bracelet: A complex, elegant bracelet design bringing new attention to this model. Price: 36'200 .

What This Means for Collectors

The Land-Dweller is undoubtedly the most significant addition, with its high-tech escapement, exhibition caseback, and integrated bracelet. Meanwhile, the revamped dial selections across GMT, Daytona, Datejust, and Oyster Perpetual models show Rolex’s continued commitment to style and versatility.

Collectors should keep an eye on the new turquoise Daytona, red ombre Datejust 31, and green ceramic Sprite GMT, as these are expected to be the most sought-after pieces in 2025.
